This print is taken from The Big Scare, a book by Harvey Firari, illustrated by Esther. This tale is set in Birdland about a local scarecrow contest that wreaks havoc. Read more about the book here. This Scarecrow display was placed in Culver's beach area, and won first prize in the town's 2002 Halloween Scarecrow contest.
